When the Bahrain Training Institute was formed by the Bahrain Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in 1992 with the responsibility of providing high-quality training to the Bahraini population, they came directly to Edexcel. Our broad product offerings, and the fact that our qualifications are globally recognised made us their provider of choice.

Since gaining its ‘Edexcel Approved Centre’ status, BTI has continued to grow and now offers BTEC National and Higher National qualifications across the Engineering, Art, and Business disciplines.

A veteran tutor with 17 years experience, Mrs. Chandavarkar has been teaching Edexcel qualification units for almost four years. Throughout that time, she has noticed that her students enjoy all the units, especially those which allow them to unleash their creativity.

In her expert opinion, the units which comprise Edexcel’s Diploma in Fashion Design, cover the entire spectrum of design. She finds that the content allows the students to understand the curriculum and provides them with the motivation to enhance their skills.

“It is a complete course compared to other diploma courses,” she says.

Noëlle Adam - Diploma in Fashion Design

After working as a criminal law barrister in Amsterdam for over ten years, Noëlle Adam decided to feed her ever-present interest in fashion and enrol in the Edexcel Diploma in Fashion Design course at the Centre for Executive Education in Dubai Knowledge Village.

Noëlle, who is married and has a daughter, completed her diploma in October 2008 and, since then, has gone on to win “Emerging Talent” at Dubai Fashion Week 2009 and create her own label!

According to Noëlle, the amount of information and technical knowledge she’s gained have enabled her to grow and pushed her career in a totally new direction.
